Serving Cass County and surrounding areas
Amber Garrison is an associate attorney at the Leeman Law Office. She practices in the areas of family law, personal injury, and juvenile law.
“When it comes to family law, I find adoptions and guardianships particularly rewarding. Nothing makes me happier than placing a child in a home where someone will love, care, and provide for that child for the rest of its life. Our entire community benefits when a child is adopted into a loving home.”
Mrs. Garrison is a 1999 graduate of Logansport High School. She graduated from Purdue University in 2003, where her major was Law & Society and her minor was history. Mrs. Garrison is a 2013 graduate of Robert H. McKinney School of Law—Indianapolis.
Mrs. Garrison started with the Leeman Law Office in August 2003 as a receptionist. She was then promoted to legal secretary, working on divorce cases and personal injury matters, and in 2009 Mrs. Garrison enrolled in law school. “I’ve worked in nearly every position in a law office. My experience gives me a unique perspective on cases, which helps me guide my clients through their cases and get them comfortable with the legal process.”
Mrs. Garrison has also worked as a youth case manager at Four County Counseling Center in Cass County. As a youth case manager, she tailored treatment plans for juveniles from ages three to seventeen. “Working closely with children and their families taught me that every child and family is different and each case has its own unique set of challenges that requires a specific plan for the child and family involved.”
“My family and I have served this community for years; I’m really looking forward to serving this community as a lawyer too,” said Mrs. Garrison.
Mrs. Garrison is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Cass County Bar Association, and Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
